Reviewed by: Joe Russo (SoSF Contributor & Film Critic) relax cease: Don’t Look Back Straight to video horror is a lucrative product. With gore, it’s very easy to turn a tiny budget into something huge, of course that every comes back to the script. If it’s too epic and sprawling, your money is spread thin. If it’s relatively contained, like relax cease: Don’t Look Back, then you actually find your money well spent. While the story might be relatively plodding and confusing, having something to do

New DVDs: Ricky Nelson, John Mayer
"The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet" wasn't much of an adventure for viewers. The Nelson family -- Ozzie, Harriet, and the boys David and Ricky -- spent their weekly 26 minutes fumbling with some minor domestic crisis or another. A show about next-to-nothing. Viewers were just stopping by for a visit. No family puzzler proved too easy for Ozzie, whose character helped institutionalize the bumbling sitcom dad. "Think I'll go out and polish the car and think this over," he'd say when confron

Russo Review — Tropic Thunder DVD & Blu-Ray
Reviewed by: Joe Russo (Film Critic & SoSF Contributor) An epic comedy that is not to be missed Russo Rating: 9/10 Event comedies don’t arrive around very often. Russo Reviews — DVD/Blu-ray Releases — Feast II/Sixth Sense
Reviewed by: Joe Russo (Film Critic & SoSF Contributor) “Feast II: Sloppy Seconds” The original Feast, was a joy to watch. The best film to arrive out of the Project Green Light series, Feast helped writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan carve names for themselves in the lucrative Saw franchise and established John Gulager as a zany, yet aggressively stylistic filmmaker. Bringing back some of the original cast and taking the horror comedy series to new heights (or lows depending on your p
